When a supermodel weds the founder of the hottest social media platform, we are bound to be excited. But, more often than not, simplicity speaks of elegance louder than any amount of pompadour, and Victoria Secret’s supermodel Miranda Kerr and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel’s backyard wedding was classy, tasteful and extremely elegant.

The exclusive affair, held in the couple’s house in Brentwood, California on May 27th, was only witnessed by 45 guests, who were also requested to refrain from posting on social media—ironically, even on Snapchat.
True to the old-fashioned theme, Kerr and Spiegel decided not to see each other until the bride walked down the aisle. Instead, they decided to start their Big Day with an hour long yoga session together.

Miranda wore a custom-made Dior gown inspired by the iconic Grace Kelly, who wore the gown for her own wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956, reflecting Kerr’s style transformation from wild and bohemian to a more reserved look. She paired her dress with a pearl-encrusted headdress designed by Milliner Stephen Jones.

Both Evan and six-year old Flynn, Miranda’s son with ex-husband Orlando Bloom and ring-bearer for the ceremony, wore Dior suits.
The menu, which included a replication of Miranda’s signature dish, a slow-roasted chicken scented with turmeric and lemon, was as simple and tasteful as the rest of the wedding. However, Miranda presented her love in classic style on a plate by cooking the groom’s meal herself.
