Bhakti & Kanishka's Wedding in Delhi, India
From colleagues at work to a loving couple, Bhakti and Kanishka's journey is nothing less than fascinating! Read all about how they tied the knot at a temple in Delhi.
How they met:
The Groom, Bhakti, is a Punjabi guy from Delhi and the bride, Kanishka, is from Mumbai. They both work for the same advertising agency, but in different offices, and inspite of seeing each other every now & then, they never spoke. Kanishka went to Delhi for some office work and was done earlier than planned. Being a fun loving girl, she decided to roam around Delhi, but since she didn’t have any friends there, she called Bhakti up. He took her around and made her try some famous eatery joints and places to shop. They spoke and realized that they had so much in common in terms of profession, family background and their way of thinking.
Bride – Since my wedding took place in the morning, I decided to go with a light color combination: a Green and Pink Lehenga. My lehenga was designed by Naina Venugopal, from Envy Design Studio.
As it is said that marriages are made in heaven, it was justified to choose the wedding venue at Shree Hare Krishna Iskcon Temple, South Delhi. The choice was mutual because they wanted a sweet and peaceful morning temple wedding.
Few words on the photographer, videographer, hair/make-up artist, bartenders and DJ:
Bride – Our Photographer, Weddings By Knotty Days, was truly amazing. The team understood our chemistry so well that the shots captured by them relayed our story in the best possible way. Their hard work reflected in the way the pictures came out: so lively that one can still be lost in those moments; and yeah, they made me look so pretty! My makeup artists, Sakshi and Amit added a sparkle to my looks on my wedding day. A big thanks to them for showing such a loving gesture.
