Amardeep & Amneet's Wedding in Goa, India
Getting married in the party capital of India, Goa, was Amardeep and Amneet's dream come true, and boy, was it done in style!?!
How we met:
We met through our common friends.
Wedding Planning and Decor:
I always wanted a destination wedding and Goa served as the perfect place to have one. Everything from decor to food to bookings was taken care of by Amardeep (groom) and my brother Prince Himmat and the wedding planning team, Plan My Shaadi Pvt Ltd.
Feelings on the Big Day:
As an Indian bride, everyone was expecting me to be nervous and cautious, but being the carefree girl that I am, I was happily enjoying all the events.
Most of my wedding wear was from Mumbai, and I would like to thank Falguni Shane Peacock for paying personal attention to my dresses and for always being there, even on my trials and fittings. Big thanks to my bridesmaid too! They have always been by my side, be it during shopping or any emotional moment! My brother, Prince Himmat Singh, needs to be thanked specially for always being there for me. And now last but not the least, my then and now forever shopping partner, my better half, Amardeep!

As we wanted a destination wedding, we visited Goa, which is known for its beaches and party mood. We couldn’t resist the pristine views provided by the Park Hyatt Resort, and Amardeep had completely fallen in love with the resort when he had visited earlier. And to top it all off, my brother, Prince Himmat Singh, was also positive about the hospitality.
Performers and Performances:
Well, we Punjabis do not need to prepare for performances, but my brothers spontaneously performed on some Punjabi dance numbers. I must tell you, it was not choreographed but still par excellent!!
Advice for to-be-weds:
Make sure to book a good wedding planning team, because half the stress will be relieved there. They should be reliable as well, so that you know where and how your money is being spent.
